Denice Zamboanga is making it personal when she takes on Alyona Rassohyna in her first fight for 2025.
The Filipino standout will take on Rassohyna for the ONE interim women's atomweight MMA world title in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 27 on January 10, US primetime, at the historic Lumpinee Stadium.
In an interview with One Sports, Zamboanga said she would vent her frustrations on Rassohyna for making her skip out on the holiday celebrations in December.

Denice Zamboanga said in jest:
"Maybe I’ll just vent my frustration on not being able to eat a lot and celebrate during the holidays [on] her."
Zamboanga is riding a three-fight winning streak to position herself for a shot at ONE Championship gold, a chance that she hopes won't slip away from her at ONE Fight Night 27.
'The Menace' was scheduled to challenge close friend and former training partner Stamp Fairtex for the ONE women's atomweight MMA world title at ONE 167.
Stamp, however, tore the meniscus in her left knee forcing her out of the June fight card.
Zamboanga was then penciled in to take on Rassohyna for the interim women's atomweight MMA strap at ONE Fight Night 25, but the 27-year-old suffered a hamstring injury during her training camp for the August matchup.
Nevertheless, Zamboanga is back in full health and ready for her shot at gold in ONE Championship's first Amazon card of 2025.
ONE Fight Night 27 is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
